Funeral services for Rickey Morris Lokey, who died Sunday, will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hillcrest Funeral Home. Rev. Ray Armstrong and Marion Rees will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosebank Cemetery.
Mr. Lokey, 49, of Flat Creek, was a supervisor at DESA International of Shelbyville and a member of the Church of Christ. He was a member of the Alabama National Guard and an active member of the Army Reserve. He was the son of the late Neil C. Lokey and Nora Philpott Lokey Rogers and stepson of the late J.B. Rogers.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Betty King Lokey of Flat Creek; a son, Brian Keith Lokey of Virginia Beach, Va.; two brothers, Brent Lokey and Neil Lokey, both of Shelbyville; and two sisters, Liza Walker of Deltona, Fla. And Lydia Mittwede of Orlando, Fla.

Ricky and I had some classes together. He was quiet, nice. I liked him a lot. He didn't get to live as long as he should have.
