I remember Wayne from Central Elementary through high school. He was quiet and polite, and he seemed to be a genuinely kind person. I remember his red hair most of all. I heard about his death several years ago ... I believe it was a heart attack, but I'm not sure ... and remember thinking that he would surely be welcomed in heaven. I don't think I ever heard him say a bad thing about anyone, and I picture him with a smile. We all miss him. Mary Crosslin Gaines
Wayne and i had AlgebraI together. We were having a very very very hard time understanding it. We passed with a D-. To this day I still think Mrs Barnes gave Wayne and I that 1 or 2 points just to pass. I miss all my friend from that time of my life. Some I will see later in my passing. What fun we will have!!!
