Milton G. Whitsett

Milton G. Whitsett of Shelbyville, and Army veteran of the Vietnam conflict, was dead on arrival Wednesday at Bedford County General Hospital of an apparent heart attack. He was 43.
Services will be 4 p.m. Friday at Gowen-Smith Chapel and Jimmy Gray and the Rev.Brent Haley officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Mount Cemetery.
A Bedford County native, he was the son of Mrs. Aileen Marrs Witsett of Shelbyville and the Late W.T. Whitsett. He was employed as warehouse manager at Top Sellers, Inc., Murfreesboro, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Additional survivors are his wife, Mrs. Linda J. Brown Whitsett; a son, Milton G. (Bubba) Whitsett Jr. of Shelbyville; a daughter, Michelle R. Whitsett of Shelbyville; a brother, William Dennis Whitsett of Benton, Ill; two half brothers, Jerry Roe of New Castle, Ind., and William Roe of Chattanooga; and two half sisters, Mrs. Emmaline Brown of Shelbyville and Mrs. William (Nancy) Rucker of New Castle.

Milton was a good friend and neighbor. I miss him alot .Bear Hart.
