Patsy "Pat" Cook Pollock Taylor, 68, died on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at Tennova Healthcare-Shelbyville.

Pat was born on July 25, 1947, a daughter of the late Hoyle Thomas "Buck" and Frances Overcast Cook. She graduated from Shelbyville Central High School in 1968 and was a retired factory employee. She married the late John Robert Pollock in 1968 and then in 1999 married the late Willard Ray Taylor. Pat was a former member of Victory Baptist Church. Pat was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others.

Patsy is survived by her daughters Donna (Ronnie) Barrett, Rebecca (Mark) Holland, brother Tommy (Lynn) Cook, sister, Sandy Painter and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Services were held at Gowen-Smith Funeral Home, interment in Willow Mount Cemetery.
