Share your most embarrassing or your funniest high school memory:

A Funny Memory:
One of the funniest memories I have from high school was in my freshman year. Some of the seniors had it in for Coach Wallace Hancock! At that time Coach Hancock had a Volkswagen and their plans that morning was to hide Coach's car from him..and embarrassing him in front of the student body. But I recall a teacher caught the boys after it was place on the school's auditorium stage, and she had them move it back to its spot outside. I don't remember what happened after that, I just know it was hilarious seeing the students rolling the car to the auditorium side doors, lifting the Volkswagon up, carrying it while laughing & joking about it the whole time.

Any other School Stories you wish to share?

One day at school the marching band had permission to use the gym floor in place of our usual P.E. Class. Dan Fulton, and I decided that we would have some fun...We crossed Elm Street to Shelbyville Supermarket and bought a couple of lemons. As the band were playing their instruments, we pulled out the lemons and started sucking on them right in front of the players. When they saw us with the lemons, they were unable to blow their horns properly..some turning "redface"!
But someone else saw us...several coaches were up on the mezzanine of the gym looking down at us laughing. They motion for us to come to them! You can use your imagine to fill in the rest of the story.

Hey Lolly... Thank you for all the things you've done over the years to promote our senior class. Without your messages & involvement we would not have been able to revisit our pass friendships.

Hey Lolly...living here in Columbia...I read early in the local newspaper your plans about retirement...and continuing on at the center on a part-time basis. You have meant so much to the families of Maury County because of your sincere diligence & compassion for them...spending hour upon hour in their service. I want to personally thank you for a job well done....may Eddie & you now enjoy your family...Millie, Hal & grand children...with the extra time.
God Bless
