The saddness over Glenn's tragic death being run over on Madison Street is still there. He was my good friend since first grade. His big smile and bright blue eyes were something i looked forward to seeing everyday. He sat behind me or beside me in many classes including Latin I and II. The notes he passed me were hilarious. We shot a few spitwads in stealth mode, he taught me how.
I asked him what his favorite thing to do was. (A question i am fond of.) He said,"Watching Saturday morning cartoons with my Dad."
Mary was a super basketball player and a good highschool friend. I got to know her well as manager of the girl's basketball team. Her sense of humor, kindness, and athleticism were immense. I was so saddened and shocked to hear of her passing. When we played Lewisburg she pointed out her home along the way. I was surprised by how far out from Cental High she lived.
